Why These Programs?

If you aspire to specialize in an advanced field of nursing, the Master Degree Programs at Al-Subtain University offer you a two-year journey combining theoretical knowledge, advanced clinical skills, and evidence-based practice — preparing you to become a specialist nurse practitioner in one of four high-demand fields.

Available Programs

1. Critical Care Nurse Practitioner

This program is designed for those who seek to work in the most demanding and high-stakes healthcare environments. The curriculum covers advanced hemodynamic monitoring, management of acute respiratory failure, neurological emergencies, sepsis and multisystem organ failure, and advanced cardiac life support. Clinical training spans intensive care units, emergency departments, and trauma units. Graduates are prepared for leadership roles in ICU and ER settings.

2. Oncology Nurse Practitioner

This program is designed for those who wish to accompany cancer patients throughout their treatment journey. The curriculum integrates advanced pathophysiology, oncology-specific pharmacology, and evidence-based care management. Clinical training covers hospital-based medical-surgical oncology settings. Graduates are equipped to serve as educators, researchers, consultants, and patient advocates in oncology care.

3. Cardiac Nurse Practitioner

This program is for those drawn to the specialized field of cardiac care. The curriculum encompasses cardiac anatomy and physiology, cardiology diagnostics, management of acute and chronic cardiac conditions, cardiac rehabilitation, and advanced cardiac imaging. Clinical training takes place in coronary care and cardiology units. Graduates are prepared for advanced practice roles in cardiac and critical care settings.

4. Neonatal Critical Care Nurse Practitioner

This program is for those called to care for the most vulnerable patients — premature and critically ill newborns. The curriculum covers neonatal anatomy and physiology, neonatal diagnostic procedures, advanced pharmacology in neonatology, nutrition and growth management, and care of high-risk neonatal conditions. Clinical training is conducted in neonatal intensive care and convalescent units. Graduates are prepared for specialist roles in NICUs and neonatal emergency settings.
