Nursing program (BSN)

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program offers an integrated academic framework combining theoretical concepts with advanced clinical applications to produce scientifically and practically distinguished nursing professionals. Its curriculum progresses from introductory theory and lab training to hospital clerkships and a fourth year of intensive clinical training, covering areas such as adult, maternal, child, mental, and community health. Graduates achieve key learning outcomes including safe, evidence-based care, critical thinking, effective communication, and professional ethics, while being evaluated through diverse methods like written, oral, computer-based, and project-based assessments. Clinical training begins in the first year with simulation labs, moves to teaching hospitals and primary health centers in years two and three, and culminates in intensive fourth-year clerkships to ensure workforce readiness. Throughout the program, student support and advising are provided by the Psychological Counseling Unit, led by Dean Dr. Ali Karim and MSN Khalil Sakran, helping students overcome academic and personal challenges.
