In the ongoing effort to ensure the quality of medical education and to assess the efficiency of field training, the Dean of the College of Nursing and Midwifery at Al-Sibtain University for Medical Sciences conducted a comprehensive inspection and evaluation visit to the college’s students training at the Heart Surgery and Treatment Center in Al-Husseini Hospital, coinciding with the final day of the approved training program for this academic year, in preparation for the start of the compensatory days allocated to some students.

This field visit aimed to evaluate the students' direct clinical performance in a critical cardiac care setting and to ensure the alignment of practical hospital practices with the academic curricula and theories taught at the college.

This training course was distinguished by the active participation of twenty-two advanced students, who underwent an intensive and rigorous program in critical cardiac care and cardiac surgery.

The training was conducted under the direct supervision and guidance of a specialized supervisory team of three academic trainers, including a visiting professor from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. This reflects the depth of international coordination and academic exchange that Al-Sibtain University pursues to enhance the efficiency of its graduates and ensure they meet global standards.

During the visit, the Dean met with the supervising professors and trainee students. Faculty members commended the outstanding success achieved during this period, emphasizing the exceptional cooperation from the administration of the Cardiac Surgery and Treatment Center and the high level of coordination from the center's nursing staff, who facilitated the students' progress. The professors also praised the high level of commitment and scientific enthusiasm demonstrated by the 22 students throughout their time in the wards and specialized facilities.
