College of Nursing and Midwifery Participates in International Nurses Day Celebration at Sayyida Khadija Al-Kubra Hospital (Peace Be Upon Her)


The Deanship of the College of Nursing and Midwifery at Al-Sibtain University for Medical Sciences participated in the International Nurses Day celebration organized by Sayyida Khadija Al-Kubra Hospital (Peace Be Upon Her) on Monday, June 15, 2026, at the hospital conference hall.


The event was attended by the Hospital Director, Dr. Baidaa Al-Tamimi, the Medical Director, Dr. Alaa, the Head of the Nursing Syndicate in Karbala, as well as a number of physicians, nursing staff, and media representatives.


During the celebration, Professor Dr. Ali Kareem Al-Jubouri, Dean of the College of Nursing and Midwifery, delivered a speech highlighting the vital role of the nursing profession in improving healthcare quality and patient care. He praised the remarkable efforts of nursing personnel working across healthcare institutions and emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration between academic and healthcare sectors to advance nursing education, clinical training, and healthcare services.


The ceremony also included honoring the Deanship of the College of Nursing and Midwifery, the Head of the Nursing Syndicate in Karbala, and several distinguished nursing staff members by the Hospital Director in recognition of their dedicated efforts and valuable contributions to the healthcare sector.


This participation reflects the College’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with healthcare institutions and supporting activities that recognize the significant humanitarian and professional role of nurses in serving the community.
